In a distant future that feels suspiciously like today, 15-year-old Wolfie dreams of making it big on CLICK, the social network that runs the world: money, basic services, and, most of all, popularity. With only one follower, his best friend Lenny, Wolfie can barely afford lunch. Meanwhile, CLICK’s elite live in Big Red, a Martian utopia where the party never ends.

Everything changes when Odin Roscoe, the megalomaniac mastermind behind CLICK, announces a contest: anyone with at least 10,000 followers, a fraction of the usual threshold, can compete for a permanent spot in Big Red. Wolfie may be 9,999 followers away from his dream, but he’s ready to do whatever it takes to get there.
