L’architecture des possibles is a human, inspiring, and socially engaged documentary series that explores the importance of universal accessibility in our environment. Hosted by Mélanie Labelle, each episode dives into the daily challenges faced by people with functional limitations (nearly one third of Québec’s population) while reminding us that aging eventually makes this everyone’s reality.
The series invites us to rethink homes, schools, businesses, streets, and parks so they can be welcoming, safe, aesthetic, and inclusive, regardless of age, physical ability, or specific needs. Mélanie experiences current barriers firsthand, visits innovative projects at home and abroad, and speaks with experts, architects, designers, and entrepreneurs who are working to create spaces designed for all.
Beyond architecture and design, it is the life stories and moving testimonies that form the heart of the project. L’architecture des possibles encourages us to reflect on our future and that of our loved ones, and to imagine a fairer, more accessible, and sustainable world. Because making places accessible means giving everyone the chance to live fully and independently.
