A one-hour documentary on the consequences of the tourism industry on a region of Quebec: Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine. This film reveals how the island’s inhabitants, faced with a dramatic rise in the number of tourists, decided to take control of their region’s tourist development so as to ensure success, whilst respecting the natural environment, its inhabitants and their way of life.
