The Kogi of Colombia, the Hadza of Tanzania, the Waura of Brazil and the Papous of New-Guinea… The most visually stunning photographic records of traditional societies are always the result of an enduring love story between the photographer and the area. The series, Photographe-voyageurs, will follow five renowned photographers that have strong links with traditional communities they have been documenting for decades. Two closely-linked themes are present in each episode: The first, the discovery of an evolving traditional society, with its codes, traditions and rituals; the other, the photographer’s relationship with the community.
